A new RCT from West China Hospital is testing whether wireless wearable monitoring devices combined with a digital rehabilitation program can improve pulmonary function at 90 days following curative lung resection for NSCLC. The 126-participant trial targets FEV1% predicted as its primary endpoint and represents a significant step toward technology-enabled post-thoracotomy care. Thoracic oncology and rehabilitation clinicians should note this trial ahead of its 2026 enrolment commencement.
