A completed South Korean pilot study has evaluated a Phase I cardiac rehabilitation program combining inpatient and home-based exercise with continuous remote ECG monitoring via the MEMO Patch wearable device in 22 post-cardiac surgery patients. The trial assessed changes in exercise capacity, physical function, and quality of life across the surgical recovery continuum, offering early feasibility data for wearable-guided rehabilitation models with implications for cardiac care delivery globally.
