·clinical-trialsA new randomised controlled trial from Heinrich-Heine University Düsseldorf will compare immediate versus delayed digital posterior implant workflows using the OHIP-14 as the primary patient-reported outcome measure. The trial, enrolling 50 participants across Germany and Hong Kong, aims to determine whether immediate placement at the time of extraction delivers measurably superior oral health-related quality of life during the active treatment phase. Results are anticipated by late 2028 and will have direct implications for implant treatment planning in specialist dental practice.
