A new randomised trial from the University of Twente will test whether a personalised digital lifestyle program — with or without virtual coaching and continuous glucose monitoring — can meaningfully reduce HbA1c in metformin-managed adults with type 2 diabetes over 24 months. The 160-participant study offers a rare head-to-head comparison of program components, with results expected by December 2028.
