A randomised, double-blind trial of LiveSpo Navax—a nasal and throat spray delivering Bacillus subtilis and B. clausii spores—demonstrated 26-fold greater viral load reduction, 65-fold greater bacterial reduction, and 100% recovery versus 12.5–25% still symptomatic in controls, establishing the first clinical evidence for nasal Bacillus spore probiotics in paediatric URTI prevention.
