A Cairo University clinical trial is directly comparing digital mirror therapy and action observation therapy for improving upper limb function, manual dexterity, and grip strength in children aged 6–8 with hemiplegic cerebral palsy. With 45 participants enrolled and results expected by late 2026, this study could reshape occupational therapy protocol selection for paediatric CP rehabilitation globally.
