The Actuate-CBC trial (NCT05917652) is recruiting 2,183 clinicians across US burn centres and non-burn hospitals to test an implementation science toolkit designed to accelerate the adoption of telemedicine in acute and crisis burn care. Using validated frameworks to map clinician attitudes and real-world teleconsultation use, the study aims to produce a replicable model for health systems worldwide. Australian burn care networks stand to benefit significantly from the trial's anticipated findings.
